I lose internet connection! What would I do?

If you lose your internet connection, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially restore your connection:

  1. Check your network equipment: Ensure that your modem, router, and any other network devices are powered on and properly connected. Sometimes, a loose cable or a power issue can disrupt the connection.

  2. Restart your devices: Turn off your modem, router, computer, or other devices that rely on the internet. Wait for a few seconds and then turn them back on. This can help refresh the network connections and resolve temporary issues.

  3. Verify your Wi-Fi connection: If you're using Wi-Fi, check if the Wi-Fi signal on your device is strong and properly connected to your network. If the signal is weak, try moving closer to the router or access point.

  4. Use an Ethernet cable: If you have an Ethernet cable, you can directly connect your computer or device to the modem to bypass any potential Wi-Fi issues. This will help determine if the problem lies with the wireless connection.
